During the 1960s, the Eastern California Museum collaborated with the United States Forest Service to conduct an archaeological excavation at Mammoth Cave in Mono County, California. Rollin and Grace Enfield coordinated the excavation and authored the report. This document is cataloged, although it is a manuscript copy. It includes actual photographs of excavated items. The pamphlet cover lists an alternate title, "The archaeological excavation of Mammoth Creek Cave. Eastern California Museum, Independence, California. Paper No. 1. May, 1964"
